Purpose

At the Denny Family Foundation, we believe that education sparks progress.

Our purpose is to help ideas grow;  especially those that inspire curiosity, creativity, and long-term change. We focus on education, with a special interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), because we know that when learners are empowered to think boldly, communities thrive.

Funding

We partner with schools, nonprofits, and community programs that share our vision of expanding access to quality education.
Our grants support projects that:

• Encourage hands-on, creative learning experiences
• Build pathways into STEM education and careers
• Connect educators, students, and industry leaders in meaningful ways
• Create a ripple effect of opportunity and innovation
• Funding can be used for things like program development, classroom or lab resources, student scholarships, or other education-driven initiatives that make a measurable difference.

Eligibility

We consider proposals from:

• U.S.-based nonprofit organizations recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
• Accredited educational institutions and related organizations

To be eligible, a project should clearly connect to our mission and show thoughtful planning for impact and sustainability.
While we can’t fund individuals or for-profit ventures, we welcome collaboration and creative ideas that move education, and opportunity, forward.
